1. The transportation of bentonite waterproof blankets should prevent exposure to strong sunlight, be waterproof, and moisture-proof. When storing, overhead methods should be adopted, and it is best to use up the bentonite waterproof blanket transported to the site within a few days.
2. When carrying out the next process or adjacent project construction, it is necessary to properly protect the bentonite waterproof blanket that has already completed the construction process to avoid unnecessary human damage.
3. During construction, construction workers should try to avoid walking or stepping on the bentonite waterproof blanket with spiked shoes or high heels, and vehicles and other machinery should not crush the bentonite waterproof blanket.
4. For completed construction, you need to lay a clay protective layer on the same day. For construction that cannot be completed on the same day, it should also be covered to prevent hydration of the bentonite waterproof blanket on snowy or rainy days and strong sunlight exposure.
5. For the waterproofing construction of a single layer of bentonite waterproof blanket, it is necessary to pass the acceptance inspection after the construction is completed. Backfilling should be carried out immediately with soil and sand with a specific gravity greater than 2.0. When backfilling, attention should be paid to preventing damage to the bentonite waterproof blanket. The backfill soil should not contain gravel with a particle size greater than 10mm, and the thickness of the backfill soil should not be less than 30cm. The compaction degree of backfill should not be less than 85%.
