Composite geomembrane is an impermeable material composed of geotextiles and geomembranes. It is mainly used for anti-seepage. Composite geomembranes are divided into one fabric one membrane and two fabrics one membrane, with a width of 4-6 meters and a weight of 200-1500g/m2. They have high physical and mechanical performance indicators such as tensile strength, tear resistance, and top breaking, and can meet the needs of civil engineering such as water conservancy, municipal engineering, construction, transportation, subway, and tunnel. Due to the use of polymer materials and the addition of anti-aging agents in the production process, it can be used in unconventional temperature environments.

Construction precautions

(1) The use must be embedded: the coverage thickness should not be less than 30cm



(2) The renovated anti-seepage system should consist of a cushion layer, anti-seepage layer, transition layer, and protective layer.



(3) The soil should be solid, avoiding uneven settlement and cracks. Grass and tree roots within the anti-seepage range should be removed. Lay a protective layer of sand or clay with small particle size on the contact surface with the membrane.



(4) When laying, the geotextile should not be pulled too tightly. It is better for the parts buried in the soil at both ends to form a ripple shape, especially when anchoring with rigid materials, there should be a certain amount of expansion and contraction.



(5) During construction, stones and heavy objects should be avoided from directly hitting the geotextile membrane. It is best to lay the membrane and cover it with a protective layer while working.
