Installation Instructions

Welding before hanging:
1. Cut 2-3 narrow roll waterproof boards according to the planned hanging area outside the cave;
2. Then lay it flat on the ground and assemble it into a large format waterproof board that is easy to transport and hang, reducing the number of welds in the tunnel operation to improve welding quality;
3. Waterproof boards should reduce joints;
4. The splicing of waterproof boards adopts double seam welding with a heat sealing machine, and the overlap width is required to be no less than 100mm. The temperature and speed of the heat sealing machine should be controlled to ensure the quality of the welding seam.
5. The weld seam should be tight, and the effective welding width of a single weld seam should not be less than 12.5mm
Key points to note:
1. Before welding, the surface of the joint plate to be welded should be wiped clean, and the welding temperature and speed should be determined through testing based on the material.
2. During welding, it is important to avoid missed welding, false welding, scorching, or welding penetration.
3. The longitudinal length of the first laying along the tunnel should be about 1.0m longer than the length of the second lining construction, in order to connect with the waterproof layer of the next cycle; At the same time, it can make the waterproof layer joint and the lining concrete joint staggered by about 1.0m, which is conducive to preventing water leakage from the concrete construction joint
